AIESEC brings motivated university students from different parts of the world to Hungary to volunteer in local NGOs, schools, kindergartens for 6-8 weeks.

Anyone who is open to welcoming an international volunteer into their home and providing a safe, supportive environment can apply. You don’t need previous hosting experience, just an open mind, a willingness to share your culture and a suitable place for the volunteer to stay.
Most Global Host placements last approximately 2–8 weeks, depending on the volunteer’s project. The exact dates and duration will be discussed with you before confirming the placement.
No! Host families are not required to provide meals. However, you’re welcome to share meals with your volunteer if you’d like. The main responsibility is to provide suitable accommodation and access to basic utilities.
Absolutely! AIESEC in Hungary will support you throughout the hosting experience, from the initial application and matching process to the volunteer’s stay. Our team will be available to answer questions and help address any concerns that may arise.
Our team will help match your family with a suitable international volunteer based on your availability, preferences and living arrangements. You’ll also have the opportunity to get to know the volunteer before their arrival to make sure expectations are aligned.
